Podere Cerreto

Podere Cerreto is a 19th-century former barn, renovated using eco-friendly building techniques and reclaimed materials. The owner lived here for many years and still visits occasionally, which makes the house feel warm and full of character. It’s set in the countryside, surrounded by woods and olive groves, and is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful stay and a base to explore Tuscany by car.

The house is easy to reach by car, with a two-kilometer drive on a dirt road. It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and one with a larger single bed (three-quarter size). Both rooms have a small sitting area with stone arches and exposed wooden beams. On the ground floor, there is also a double sofa bed, and a baby bed is available on request.
The living area is spacious, with a sitting room and a dining table. The kitchen, made of wood and stone, is fully equipped. For those traveling in a group, there are two bathrooms, offering maximum comfort.
Outside, you’ll find tables and chairs in the shade, a barbecue, a hot tub, and a small pond with a view of the hills. In the evening, you can relax and admire the stars.


Podere Cerreto is in a great location for visiting cities like San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, Siena, Florence, and the Abbey of San Galgano, all less than an hour away. In the area, there are local restaurants, pizzerias, horse riding centers, and markets, like the one in Siena on Wednesdays. You can also take walks along trails, through woods and olive groves nearby.
