La Fornace - Sole

Il Sole is an independent apartment within the Podere La Fornace estate, an old stone farmhouse surrounded by greenery, located on a hilltop overlooking the Valdarno valley.
It’s peaceful and far from the noise of big cities, but well positioned for exploring Tuscany by car. It’s perfect for families, even with pets, who love nature, walking, and cycling.


Staying at Il Sole feels like spending a few days in the little square of a medieval village.
The bedroom features a double bed and a single bed, exposed wooden beams, and a window with views of the green hills, perfect for enjoying the landscape and the peaceful sounds of nature.The kitchen is fully equipped and bright, thanks to a large window that fills the space with natural light.
From here, you can step out onto the entrance terrace, which opens onto the countryside: the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, in total silence.
Guests also have access to the shared spaces of the estate: a large swimming pool surrounded by greenery, a barbecue for outdoor cooking, and the peace and quiet of the countryside, ideal for relaxing under a starry sky at night.


Il Sole is a great base for exploring Tuscany by car, driving through postcard landscapes and charming medieval villages full of history. The area is known for its wine, olive oil, honey, fruit, and local cheeses, everything that makes Tuscan food special. In just over an hour, you can reach Florence, Siena, Arezzo, and Cortona. Shops and supermarkets are just a few kilometers away.
