La Fornace - Rustica

La Rustica is an independent house within the Podere La Fornace estate, an old stone farmhouse surrounded by greenery, located on a hilltop overlooking the Valdarno valley. Peaceful and far from the hustle of big cities, it’s perfectly located for exploring Tuscany by car. It’s ideal for families, even with pets, who love nature, walking, and cycling.


Built in stone and wood, the house features three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and one single, all with exposed wooden beams and a warm rustic atmosphere. For extra comfort when traveling in a group, there are two bathrooms.
The living area preserves the charm of traditional Tuscan homes, with vintage furniture and a fully equipped rustic kitchen. At the center, a large wooden dining table is perfect for enjoying meals together, even with a larger group.
Outside, there’s a small private garden with a gazebo, a peaceful spot for breakfast, reading, or a glass of wine at sunset, surrounded by greenery and silence.
Guests also have access to the estate’s shared spaces: a large swimming pool surrounded by nature, a barbecue for outdoor cooking, and the quiet of the countryside—perfect for relaxing in the evening under a starry sky.


La Rustica is a great base for exploring Tuscany by car, driving through postcard landscapes and charming medieval villages full of history and atmosphere. The area is famous for its wine, olive oil, honey, fruit, and local cheeses—everything that makes Tuscan food special. Florence, Siena, Arezzo, and Cortona are all just over an hour away. Shops and supermarkets are just a few kilometers from the property.
