La Fornace - Luna

La Luna is an independent apartment within the Podere La Fornace estate, an old stone farmhouse surrounded by greenery, located on a hilltop overlooking the Valdarno valley.
It’s peaceful and far from the noise of big cities, but well positioned for exploring Tuscany by car. It’s perfect for families, even with pets, who love nature, walking, and cycling.


Staying at La Luna feels like spending a few days in the heart of a small medieval village. Made of stone and wood, the apartment has a double bedroom with exposed wooden beams and a large window facing the countryside, perfect for enjoying the landscape and the sounds of nature.
The living area includes a cozy little sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. Right outside the entrance, there’s a small outdoor table, like in the center of a little square: perfect for breakfast, a glass of wine, or a late afternoon aperitif.
Guests also have access to the shared spaces of the estate: a large swimming pool surrounded by greenery, a barbecue for outdoor cooking, and the peace and quiet of the countryside, ideal for relaxing under a starry sky at night.
La Luna is a great base for exploring Tuscany by car, driving through postcard landscapes and charming medieval towns full of history and atmosphere. The area is famous for its wine, olive oil, honey, fruit, and local cheeses, everything that makes Tuscan food so special. In just over an hour, you can reach Florence, Siena, Arezzo, and Cortona. Shops and supermarkets are only a few kilometers away.
