The Franz Liszt Suite is part of Liszt's house, in the old heart of Florence, just a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella—a 15th-century gem that holds centuries of history. Step into a home that has lived through time, where history, art, and beauty come together — and where Giovanni de’ Medici studied alchemy, noble families made agreements with the kings of Italy, and Franz Liszt composed at the piano, letting his music fill the rooms.

The Franz Liszt room is a double suite with an aristocratic charm. The fine wooden floor and exposed beam ceiling give the room a simple, timeless elegance, while a large chandelier and two big windows make it bright, airy, and welcoming. A wide sofa, bathed in light, is the perfect place to read, chat, or relax. In front of the old fireplace, topped with a decorative mirror, you’ll find two elegant chairs; at the center of the room, a wooden table creates a cozy corner, ideal for enjoying a coffee or an aperitif.
Adding to the charm of the space is a freestanding bathtub, placed in a special spot: a scenic detail that invites you to take your time, surrounded by calm and light. Also in the room is a private bathroom, elegant and minimal, with a large shower for maximum comfort and just the right amount of privacy.
You’ll also find a corner with a minibar, kettle, and coffee machine — to start each day with a gesture of care. A little bed for children is available on request.
