Centrally located (a 3-minute walk from the famous Duomo or Ponte Vecchio, a 5-minute walk to the train station) at the corner of Florence’s most prestigious shopping street yet a quiet oasis in the city’s historic center. On the first residential floor of the building, it has everything you need for a comfortable, memorable stay.

Inside the apartment there is a large bedroom bathed in light, well decorated with attention to function and design: classic Italian ambiance with carefully restored Florentine furniture, yet modern with luxurious cotton sheets and bedcovers. Double-tinted glass for privacy.
The living room is big, airy, light-filled room with two single sofa-beds (that can become a double if so desired). The television can connect to your computer.
The bathroom is spare, classic white with silver fixtures, big overhead shower, heated towel rack, hair dryer, new fluffy towels, and good lighting for hair and makeup!
The Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, refrigerator, washing machine, Nespresso coffee maker and microwave.

There’s a very good restaurant just around the corner (Marione) – but, then, Florence is filled with great restaurants serving delicious Italian food; and there are many great cafes ( Gilli cafè or Pawskowski, to name just two, are right around the corner) where you can enjoy cappuccino and brioche for breakfast. The beautiful, famous, centuries-old Santa Maria Novella pharmacy is a short walk from the apartment. Window shop along Via Tornabuoni. Buy freshly-picked vegetables at the nearby greengrocer. Walk to historic monuments and museums (the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, the David, to name only a few).

Florence is a beautiful city full of hidden treasures! The food is fresh and tasty, the wine even better; go to local markets and cook at home in the well-appointed kitchen, enjoy a glass of Chianti while watching the sunset at an outdoor café; be tempted by fabulous jewelry or fashion - especially shoes and handbags. The apartment is a short walk from the train station or 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. Walking is the best way to see the endless eye-level masterpieces and side streets. Of course there are buses, bikes and taxis.
